Organic and Gourmet products derivated of the dried figs and Olive oil with great healthy properties, coming from our fields of organic farming.We are a family business that produces dried figs and derived products since 2003 with our own brand from our raw material of our organic farms. A year later we started producing our unique fig cake and, in 2006, our Fig Bombon was launched, made with highest quality figs and chocolates.From the beginning, our efforts were focussed on the international market, regularly attending tradeshows like Alimentaria Barcelona, BioFach Nuremberg and Sial Paris, global references in food industry, organic and gourmet products, respectively.Our dried figs variety, called "Calabacita" originates from Almoharin, a small town closely linked to Arab culture and the cultivation of figs. They have a unique flavour and texture, which allows them to have a wide range of culinary applications achieving excellent pairing with ingredients like cinnamon, chocolate, pralines and so on.In 2008, the Spanish Ministry of Environment and the Biodiversity Foundation awarded us with the "Organic Nutrition and Biodiversity" prize.Ecoficus was the first company in Extremadura to obtain the NOP Organic Certification needed to export to the U.S. Nowadays, our dried figs are sold in more than 15 countries over the world.Ecoficus, has a large global benchmark of exclusive products of the highest quality, originals and beneficial to health.The care that we put in the figs, both in its production and development, make us worthy of it.
